Bread Ahead looks into Matt Jones and Justin Gellatly, who’ve teamed up to bring fine baking to all bread lovers. Their delicious breads and sweet doughnut delights are also sold in Borough Market, search for their big green umbrella stand.
I attended one of the workshops held by Bread Ahead’s bakery school called “Wild about yeast,” the reason for choosing this course is because I wanted to learn how the bake my own bread. What i’ve learnt throughout the day is how to prepare my starter using sourdough as well as baking a baguette, pizza, ciabatta and wholegrain bread.
A huge thank you to the staff and teacher’s at Bread Ahead, they were incredibly patient with their student’s like me who are keen in learning the basic techniques of baking.
