Quick and easy “Translated as soya sauce braised pork belly.” My grandma is an excellent cook, she is the chef of Peranakan food in the family and my mentor, sharing her secrets to me. Recently cooking this dish with my grandma on facetime. Another memory of me cooking this dish for the staff is when I was interning at Roux at Parliament Square.

For those of you who don’t know about Henley festival held a week after after the Henley Regatta, a magical yearly event best known for it’s celebrity chef’s pop-up restaurants, sharp designer wear, art and sculpture. An extraordinary atmosphere of boats all docked along the Thames and fireworks followed by late night parties ending the sophisticated event.

Quick and easy “Paella is a Valencian rice dish with ancient roots that originated in its modern form in the mid-nineteenth century near Albufera lagoon, a coastal lagoon in Valencia, on the east coast of Spain.” Inspired when visiting Borough market and always eating it when in Perth with my Colombian friends.
